Your strong frontend engineering skills or full-stack expertise, combined with deep UI instincts, allow you to create effective and simple UI/UX for core developer workflows.

You possess a solid understanding of modern web fundamentals, including TypeScript and React — your experience enables you to set a high bar for performance, reliability, and usability in the products you develop. You thrive at the intersection of product design and engineering craft, always aiming to provide a world-class product experience for every engineer at OpenAI.

Your keen eye for developer needs drives you to integrate and iterate on AI-empowered developer experiences that balance capability with simplicity and control. You are a product-minded engineer who enjoys collaborating closely with engineers and internal stakeholders to understand pain points and translate them into effective solutions.

What you'll do

In this role, you will own major product areas end-to-end, from problem discovery to UX iteration, technical design, implementation, rollout, and ongoing improvements. You will partner closely with engineers and internal stakeholders to understand pain points and translate them into simple, effective UI/UX for core developer workflows.
