You are a true full-stack engineer with a passion for blending front-end and back-end work to deliver complete features. You thrive in collaborative environments, partnering closely with product, security, and research teams to create high-quality developer experiences. You have experience building developer tools or platforms, and you are comfortable moving between different technologies to achieve your goals.

You have a solid understanding of scalable services and APIs, and you enjoy developing polished UI surfaces that enhance user interaction. Your technical direction is guided by best practices in testing, architecture, and overall software development lifecycle quality. You are eager to contribute to the technical direction of the team and help set foundations for future product areas.

Desirable

Experience with React and Python is a bonus, but not required. You have a keen interest in building tools that empower developers and enhance user experiences. You are adaptable and open to learning new technologies as needed to meet project demands.

What you'll do

In this role, you will build and ship mission-critical features in the ChatGPT Apps SDK and broader platform. You will collaborate with product management, security, trust & safety, research, and engineering teams to design and deliver developer-first experiences. You will own features end-to-end, from early design and technical direction through implementation, launch, and iteration.

You will be responsible for building scalable services and APIs, as well as developing polished UI surfaces that support publishing, discovery, and app capabilities. Your contributions will help set enduring technical direction, shipping foundations that become new product areas over time. You will also contribute to team best practices in testing, architecture, and overall software development lifecycle quality.
