Who you are

You have experience as a Full Stack Software Engineer, blending front-end and back-end work to deliver impactful features. You enjoy building end-to-end web applications and platform features that enhance user experiences. You value high-quality code and polished user interfaces, ensuring the integrity, security, and performance of the systems you build.

You are comfortable collaborating with designers, product managers, and infrastructure teams, owning features from design to deployment. Your experience includes working with both front-end technologies like React and TypeScript, as well as back-end technologies such as Node.js, Python, and Go. You have a strong understanding of API design and scalable services, and you are committed to contributing to team best practices in testing, architecture, and the software development lifecycle.

What you'll do

In this role, you will build end-to-end web applications and platform features that enhance ChatGPT experiences. You will collaborate closely with designers, product managers, and infrastructure teams to create engaging user interfaces and robust APIs. Your responsibilities will include ensuring the integrity, security, and performance of the systems you build, as well as contributing to team best practices in testing and architecture.

You will thrive in an environment where you can own features from design to deployment, and you will be encouraged to share your insights and best practices with the team. You will also have the opportunity to work across various teams, including Growth, Ecosystems, Personalization, Search Infrastructure, and Platform Engineering, to develop user-facing features and foundational services that bring them to life.
