OpenAI is hiring a Product Quality Engineer to drive technical initiatives related to the quality and reliability of AI supercomputer hardware systems. You'll collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure product success from concept to launch. This role is based in San Francisco with a hybrid work model.
Job Description
Who you are
You have a strong background in product quality engineering, with experience in hardware systems and a keen understanding of quality assurance processes. You are adept at defining product quality and reliability targets, ensuring that products meet the highest standards from concept through mass production. Your collaborative nature allows you to work effectively with design engineering, operations teams, and external partners, driving initiatives that enhance product success. You are detail-oriented and possess excellent problem-solving skills, enabling you to identify and address potential quality issues proactively.
Desirable
Experience with AI hardware systems or supercomputing infrastructure is a plus. Familiarity with industry standards and compliance requirements will help you excel in this role. You are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and can adapt to changing priorities while maintaining a focus on quality.
What you'll do
In this role, you will lead the development of the overall product quality and reliability strategy for next-gen AI hardware systems. You will define quality metrics and drive initiatives to ensure that all products are developed and delivered on time.
