Who you are

You have a strong background in quantitative user experience research, with experience in applying data-driven insights to inform policy development. You understand user behavior and expectations, and you can translate complex data into actionable insights that guide strategic decisions. Your analytical skills are complemented by your ability to collaborate effectively across teams, ensuring that user-centric policies are developed and enforced. You are comfortable working with various stakeholders, including safety systems and global affairs, to coordinate research efforts and share insights. You are passionate about creating a user-centric culture within organizations and have a track record of establishing metrics that measure policy success.

What you'll do

As a Quantitative UX Researcher at OpenAI, you will embed yourself within the Product Policy team, applying your insights about users to the entire lifecycle of policy development. You will collaborate cross-functionally to coordinate research and insights, ensuring that policies are informed by user data. Your role will involve defining and operationalizing metrics that track the success of policies and their enforcement. You will develop analyses and reports that help the team and the company answer critical questions about policy compliance and effectiveness. Your work will be instrumental in fostering a data-driven culture that prioritizes user needs and expectations in policy-making.
