Who you are
You have a deep expertise in signal integrity (SI) and strong system-level design knowledge — your experience allows you to lead system signal integrity design for AI supercomputer products in data center applications. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with chip, package, boards, rack, and system engineers to drive innovative interconnect and high-speed technologies.
You are skilled in identifying and evaluating new technologies and methodologies to improve signal and power integrity in product design — your contributions will significantly impact the development of new products and technology. You have a strong background in simulation and modeling, enabling you to troubleshoot signal integrity issues effectively.
What you'll do
In this role, you will lead the system signal integrity design for AI supercomputer products, ensuring that the designs meet the unique demands of advanced AI workloads. You will collaborate with various engineering teams to develop innovative interconnect and high-speed technologies, driving the system SI design process.
You will identify and evaluate new technologies and methodologies to enhance signal and power integrity in product design, contributing your expertise to the development of cutting-edge products. Your responsibilities will include performing simulations and modeling to identify and troubleshoot signal integrity issues, ensuring that the designs are robust and reliable.
As the scope of the role and team grows, you will also lead system interconnect design, bring up, and qualification, ensuring that the systems are optimized for performance and efficiency. You will play a crucial role in shaping the future of AI-native silicon and contribute to the overall success of OpenAI's hardware organization.
