What you'll do

As a Software Engineer on the Sora team, you will design, build, and maintain data infrastructure systems that support multimodal training and evaluation at OpenAI. Your responsibilities will include developing distributed compute and data orchestration systems, ensuring they are scalable, reliable, and secure. You will partner closely with researchers to understand their requirements and translate them into effective engineering solutions.

You will also focus on hardening and optimizing critical data infrastructure systems, ensuring they can scale by orders of magnitude while remaining efficient. Your role will involve continuous iteration and improvement of these systems, contributing to the rapid development cycles of the Sora team. You will play a key role in shaping the future of multimodal AI capabilities, making a significant impact on OpenAI's mission to benefit society through advanced technology.
