Who you are
You have a strong background in software engineering with experience in building secure and scalable identity systems β your expertise includes designing and implementing Single Sign-On (SSO), SCIM, and Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) solutions that enhance user experience while maintaining security standards.
You are familiar with enterprise identity management and understand the complexities involved in integrating identity solutions within large organizations β your experience allows you to navigate the challenges of user permissions and access management effectively.
You possess excellent collaboration skills, enabling you to work closely with product, security, and platform teams β you thrive in cross-functional environments where you can contribute to the development of robust identity platforms.
You are detail-oriented and committed to delivering high-quality software that meets the highest standards of reliability and security β your work directly impacts how businesses deploy AI responsibly and securely.
What you'll do
As a Software Engineer on OpenAIβs Enterprise Identity team, you will lead the development of the identity platform that enables organizations to securely adopt OpenAI at scale β your role involves designing, building, and evolving core enterprise identity capabilities that power access across all OpenAI products.
You will be responsible for implementing and maintaining identity solutions that ensure seamless user access while providing administrators with the tools they need to manage users and permissions effectively β your contributions will help shape how businesses integrate AI into their workflows.
You will collaborate with various teams to deliver systems that balance enterprise requirements with user experience β your ability to communicate technical concepts clearly will be essential in ensuring alignment across teams.
You will also engage in code reviews and mentor junior engineers, fostering a culture of learning and improvement within the team β your leadership will help elevate the team's technical capabilities.
