You have 5+ years of experience in software engineering, with a strong focus on building secure and scalable systems. Your expertise includes designing and implementing authentication and authorization mechanisms, ensuring that user data is protected while providing a seamless experience. You are comfortable working in a collaborative environment, mentoring junior engineers, and making architectural decisions that prioritize security and reliability.
You possess a deep understanding of identity management systems and have experience with access control and account management. What you'll do
As a Senior Software Engineer on the Identity team, you will architect and build the next generation of identity solutions at OpenAI. This includes developing new use cases such as Agent identity and Sign In With ChatGPT. You will lead the design and implementation of core identity systems that serve all OpenAI users across various products, ensuring that they can securely manage their accounts at scale.
You will collaborate closely with product and platform engineers, driving major architectural initiatives and making platform-level decisions that impact security, correctness, and reliability. Your role will involve mentoring other engineers, sharing your knowledge and expertise to help them grow in their careers.
