What you'll do

In this role, you will design, build, and operate scalable backend systems that support various machine learning research workflows. Your responsibilities will include developing foundational backend services that power key OpenAI research workflows, focusing on observability and analytics. You will work on creating new infrastructure and enhancing existing systems to meet the growing demands of research.

You will collaborate closely with researchers to understand their needs and translate them into technical solutions. Your work will involve ensuring that the systems you build are reliable, easy to use, and capable of scaling with increasing workloads. You will also be responsible for maintaining operational excellence, which includes monitoring system performance and addressing any issues that arise.
