What you'll do

In this role, you will own the end-to-end program leadership for complex research initiatives within the Applied Research team at OpenAI. You will create and manage the technical roadmap in collaboration with the tech lead, ensuring that all project components are ready for execution. Your responsibilities will include converting ambiguity into executable specifications, defining grading methodologies, and establishing acceptance thresholds for project deliverables.

You will also be responsible for aligning partners technically, ensuring that shared roadmaps and milestones are clearly defined and communicated. Your role will involve close collaboration with research and engineering leads to define technical requirements and ensure that all teams are prepared for successful project execution. You will drive execution across various teams, including Research, Infrastructure, Data/Compliance, and Customer Success, ensuring that all milestones are met without compromising on quality or safety.
