OpenAI is hiring a Trust & Safety Operations Analyst to safeguard products and users from abuse and fraud. You'll work closely with various teams to ensure compliance and user trust. This role requires senior-level experience in operations and risk management.
Job Description
Who you are
You have a strong background in operations and risk management, with experience in safeguarding products and users from abuse, fraud, and regulatory non-compliance. Your expertise allows you to navigate complex safety and integrity challenges in a rapidly evolving AI landscape. You are skilled in detecting and acting on policy violations and harmful content, ensuring that platforms remain safe and trusted by a diverse user base.
You excel in building scalable operational systems, including tooling and automation, that reinforce user safety and trust while meeting legal and ethical obligations. Your experience includes acting as an incident manager for complex cases, where you triage and mitigate emerging risks effectively. You are comfortable collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Legal, Policy, Engineering, and Product, to ensure compliance and operational excellence.
What you'll do
In this role, you will own high-sensitivity workflows and be responsible for detecting, reviewing, and acting on policy violations and harmful content at scale. You will identify and mitigate new and complex safety challenges, ensuring that OpenAI's products are compliant and trusted by users. Your responsibilities will include building and scaling operational processes to meet the demands of a fast-moving environment, as well as developing detection and enforcement systems.
You will collaborate closely with various teams to ensure that user safety and trust are prioritized in all operational processes. Your role will involve continuous improvement of operational systems and processes, leveraging your expertise to enhance the effectiveness of the Trust & Safety team. You will also play a key role in shaping the future of technology by contributing to OpenAI's mission of responsible AI development.
