You have 5+ years of experience in DevOps engineering, with a strong background in building and maintaining cloud infrastructure. Your expertise in CI/CD processes and automation tools has enabled you to optimize deployment workflows effectively. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with engineering teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

Your technical skills include proficiency in GitHub Actions, Terraform, and Kubernetes, which you have used to implement infrastructure as code and streamline deployment processes. You are familiar with cloud platforms such as Azure and AWS, and you understand the importance of monitoring and alerting systems to ensure reliability and performance.

You possess excellent problem-solving abilities and can quickly adapt to new technologies and methodologies. Your strong communication skills allow you to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.

Desirable

Experience with ArgoCD and Grafana is a plus, as these tools will enhance your ability to manage deployments and visualize system performance. Familiarity with multi-tenant SaaS architectures will also be beneficial in this role.

What you'll do

As a Senior DevOps Engineer at OpenGov, you will be responsible for building and maintaining best-in-class multi-tenant SaaS solutions that enhance efficiency and transparency within government agencies. You will collaborate with engineering leadership and application engineers to design and implement cloud infrastructure that meets the needs of our clients.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include automating CI/CD processes to ensure rapid and reliable software delivery. You will optimize deployment workflows, troubleshoot issues, and implement best practices for infrastructure management. Your contributions will directly impact the performance and reliability of our solutions, enabling public sector organizations to operate more effectively.

You will also play a key role in mentoring junior engineers, sharing your knowledge and expertise to help them grow in their careers. Your ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment will be essential as you tackle complex challenges and drive continuous improvement in our processes.
