Who you are

You have 5+ years of experience in DevOps engineering, with a strong focus on managing cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines. Your expertise in AWS allows you to design and implement scalable, highly available, and cost-efficient cloud solutions that meet the demands of modern applications.

You are proficient in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices, championing tools like CloudFormation, Terraform, and CDK to provision and manage infrastructure resources securely and efficiently. Your experience with containerization and orchestration ensures that you can oversee the deployment, scaling, and management of containerized applications, maintaining optimal performance and fault tolerance.

Your background includes developing and enhancing CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins and GitHub Actions, automating build, test, and deployment workflows to streamline processes. You are skilled in version control and collaboration using Git, ensuring best practices are followed to maintain a clean and efficient codebase.

You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with cross-functional teams to resolve infrastructure issues and improve application performance. Your problem-solving skills and attention to detail enable you to tackle complex challenges effectively.

Desirable

Experience with monitoring and alerting tools, as well as familiarity with security best practices in cloud environments, would be advantageous. Knowledge of additional cloud platforms or services can enhance your contributions to the team.

What you'll do

As a Senior DevOps Engineer at NICE, you will lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of our cloud infrastructure, ensuring it is scalable and cost-effective. You will collaborate with team members across various locations, participating in a follow-the-sun support model to address infrastructure issues promptly.

You will take ownership of the CI/CD pipeline, continuously enhancing it to improve automation and efficiency in our development processes. Your role will involve optimizing the way we build, deploy, and manage applications, directly impacting their performance and reliability.

You will also oversee the deployment and management of containerized applications, ensuring they are running smoothly and efficiently. Your expertise will guide the team in adopting best practices for infrastructure management and application deployment.
