Who you are

You have 5+ years of experience in DevOps engineering, with a strong background in building and maintaining cloud infrastructure. Your expertise in CI/CD processes and automation tools has allowed you to optimize deployment workflows effectively. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with engineering teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Your technical skills include proficiency in GitHub Actions, Terraform, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms such as Azure and AWS. You understand the importance of monitoring and observability, utilizing tools like Grafana to ensure system reliability and performance. You are passionate about implementing best practices in DevOps and continuously improving processes.

You possess excellent problem-solving abilities and can quickly adapt to changing requirements in a fast-paced environment. Your strong communication skills enable you to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, fostering collaboration across teams. You are committed to delivering value and enhancing the efficiency of government operations through innovative technology solutions.

Desirable

Experience with ArgoCD and familiarity with multi-tenant SaaS architectures would be a plus. You are eager to learn new technologies and methodologies, contributing to a culture of continuous improvement within the team.

What you'll do

As a Senior DevOps Engineer at OpenGov, you will play a crucial role in building and maintaining our multi-tenant SaaS solutions. You will collaborate with engineering leadership and application engineers to design and implement cloud infrastructure that supports our products. Your responsibilities will include automating CI/CD processes, optimizing deployment workflows, and ensuring the reliability of our systems.

You will work in an agile environment, contributing to the development of best-in-class solutions that enhance transparency and accountability within government agencies. Your day-to-day tasks will involve writing software, managing cloud resources, and implementing monitoring solutions to track system performance.

You will also have the opportunity to mentor junior engineers, sharing your knowledge and expertise to help them grow in their roles. Your contributions will directly impact the efficiency of public sector organizations, enabling them to focus on their priorities and deliver maximum ROI.
