You have 5+ years of experience in test automation and software development, with a strong focus on Java and TypeScript. Your background includes working with both frontend and backend technologies, allowing you to understand the full stack of applications. You are familiar with testing frameworks and methodologies, and you have a keen eye for detail when it comes to ensuring software quality. You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy working closely with other engineers to improve processes and tools. Your experience with CI/CD practices, particularly using Cloudbuild and Spinnaker, has equipped you with the skills to streamline deployment and testing workflows. You are adaptable and open-minded, ready to embrace the Scrum framework while contributing to the team's success.

Desirable

Experience with Python and Go is a plus, as it will help you collaborate effectively with backend teams. Familiarity with ad technologies and digital advertising markets will give you an edge in understanding the context of your work. What you'll do

As a Senior Test Automation Engineer IV at OpenX, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining automated test frameworks that ensure the quality of our digital advertising technologies. You will work closely with the Full-stack team to implement testing strategies that cover both frontend and backend components. Your role will involve writing and executing test cases, analyzing results, and reporting on software quality metrics. You will also collaborate with developers to identify and resolve defects early in the development process, contributing to a culture of quality and continuous improvement.

You will participate in daily Scrum meetings, sharing updates on your progress and collaborating with team members to address any challenges. Your insights will help shape the testing processes and tools used by the team, making a significant impact on the overall efficiency of our development lifecycle. You will have the opportunity to mentor junior engineers, sharing your expertise and helping them grow in their roles.
