What you'll do

In this role, you will assist with electrical design tasks, including schematic review and PCB layout verification, contributing to the development of secure hardware systems used in OPSWAT’s cybersecurity product lines. You will perform hardware testing, validation, and troubleshooting of prototypes and production units, ensuring that all products meet the highest standards of quality and reliability. You will support firmware and hardware integration efforts, collaborating closely with senior engineers to ensure seamless functionality. Your responsibilities will also include creating and updating engineering documents, test reports, wiring diagrams, and BOMs, which are critical for maintaining accurate project records. You will work hands-on in OPSWAT’s hardware test lab and manufacturing environment, helping to evaluate components, suppliers, and hardware assemblies for reliability and quality. Additionally, you will participate in root-cause analysis and corrective-action processes for hardware issues, contributing to the continuous improvement of our products. You will collaborate with manufacturing, QA, and supply-chain teams to ensure that all hardware meets security and performance standards, playing a vital role in the success of our cybersecurity solutions.
