You have solid experience in running production machine learning infrastructure at a large scale — you've designed, deployed, and troubleshot systems in Linux-based environments, ensuring they operate efficiently and effectively. Your proficiency in containerization and parallel computing allows you to optimize workflows and enhance performance across various machine learning models.

You are skilled in utilizing cluster monitoring and profiling tools to identify bottlenecks — your analytical mindset helps you troubleshoot and resolve issues related to OS, storage, network, and GPUs. You understand the intricacies of large-scale data model training and simulations, and you are passionate about improving compute platform stability and efficiency.

What you'll do

In this role, you will design, build, and improve our compute platform for petabyte-scale data model training and simulations. You will leverage existing research infrastructure to enhance the capabilities of our machine learning libraries. Your responsibilities will include optimizing both infrastructure and software systems to ensure they are observable and scalable.

You will work closely with machine learning researchers and data scientists to support their production workloads, ensuring that the platform meets their needs and expectations. Your expertise will be crucial in troubleshooting and resolving complex issues that arise in a high-performance computing environment.
