You have a strong background in quantitative analysis and trading, with experience in developing systematic strategies for ETF arbitrage and portfolio trading. Your expertise in Python and SQL allows you to build robust backtesting frameworks and optimize execution strategies effectively. You are comfortable collaborating with traders, developers, and researchers to enhance liquidity and manage risk across various products. Your analytical mindset enables you to monitor market flows and adjust strategies in real-time, ensuring optimal performance.
You possess excellent problem-solving skills and can think critically about market dynamics and structural changes. Your ability to work in a team-oriented environment allows you to partner effectively with alpha researchers and infrastructure developers. You are detail-oriented and understand the importance of incorporating market impact and execution costs into your analyses. What you'll do
As a Quantitative Strategist at Optiver, you will design, implement, and evolve systematic strategies for ETF arbitrage and portfolio trading. You will monitor outsized market flows and regime shifts, adjusting pricing and risk tolerance as necessary. Your role will involve building robust backtesting and scenario analysis frameworks that account for market impact and liquidity constraints. You will collaborate closely with alpha researchers and developers to improve workflows for ETF baskets and portfolio trades, ensuring that execution strategies are both performant and scalable.
You will be responsible for advancing the trading platform by working with site reliability engineers and other stakeholders. Your contributions will directly impact the efficiency and effectiveness of trading operations, allowing for better risk management and execution optimization.
