You hold a PhD in Math, Stats, Physics/Applied Physics, or another STEM program, showcasing a strong academic background with a history of diverse and challenging coursework. While previous experience in Options or Quant Finance is not required, you possess a keen interest in financial markets and a desire to apply your knowledge in a practical setting. You thrive in collaborative environments, eager to work alongside traders, quants, and seasoned software engineers to tackle complex problems. Your observation skills and familiarity with modern statistical methods enable you to identify patterns and insights that drive trading strategies. What you'll do
As a Quantitative Strategist on the Options team at Virtu, you will engage in interdisciplinary collaboration, working closely with traders and engineers to develop and implement innovative trading strategies. Your primary responsibility will be to apply statistical methods to build predictive models that enhance trading performance.
