Who you are

You have strong research skills with a scientific mindset and a passion for solving real-world problems with data. Proficient in Python for data analysis and prototyping, you also have familiarity with C++, which is a plus. Your experience includes applying machine learning or statistical modeling techniques to complex systems or noisy data, showcasing your analytical rigor and attention to detail. You are an effective communicator who can challenge ideas constructively, explain reasoning clearly, and collaborate across teams. While prior experience in trading or financial markets is a plus, it is not a requirement.

What you'll do

As a data scientist in our options market making team, you will play a key role in improving our trading strategies through rigorous data-driven analysis. You’ll take a scientific approach to understanding how our systems perform in live markets—developing hypotheses, building experiments, and using advanced analytics to uncover opportunities for improvement. You’ll work with large-scale production trading data to identify patterns, test ideas, and evaluate strategic changes. This may include leveraging statistical modeling, machine learning techniques, and other quantitative methods to better understand market dynamics and strategy behavior. You’ll collaborate closely with traders and engineers, but your work will be rooted in independent thinking and a strong focus on real-world impact.
