You are a Senior Data Scientist with a strong product mindset and a proactive approach to data analysis. You thrive in environments where you can actively engage with data to understand customer pain points and identify opportunities for improvement. You have experience collaborating closely with Product, Engineering, and Analytics teams to shape product development and measure success effectively.

You possess deep expertise in Python and are comfortable working with various data tools, including PostgreSQL and Snowflake. Your analytical skills allow you to bring ideas to the table, backed by thorough analysis and clear hypotheses. You are not someone who waits for perfectly defined questions; instead, you take the initiative to explore data and drive insights that influence product direction.

You understand the importance of experimentation and statistical significance in product development. Your experience includes working on customer-facing features such as LTV prediction and benchmarking, and you are excited about the prospect of developing entirely new data-driven products.

Desirable

Experience with dbt and other data transformation tools is a plus. Familiarity with mobile app monetization and subscription models will help you understand the context of your work better. You are a strong communicator who can articulate complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders, ensuring that your findings lead to actionable outcomes.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing large datasets to derive insights that will inform product development and strategy. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify key metrics and define success criteria for new features. Your work will directly impact customer-facing functionalities, enhancing the user experience and driving revenue growth.

You will actively engage with the data stack, utilizing Python for data analysis and PostgreSQL for database management. Your role will involve designing and implementing experiments to test hypotheses and validate product decisions. You will also be responsible for benchmarking performance and providing recommendations based on your findings.

As a Senior Data Scientist, you will mentor junior team members and contribute to building a data-driven culture within the organization. You will participate in regular meetings with product and engineering teams to discuss insights and influence product direction based on data analysis. Your contributions will help shape the future of RevenueCat's offerings and ensure that they meet the needs of developers and end-users alike.
