Overview

Oscar is hiring a UM Nurse Manager to lead the Utilization Management team. You'll drive clinical and operational performance while ensuring adherence to organizational processes. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills.

Your experience includes leading teams and ensuring compliance with clinical standards and regulations. What you'll do

As the UM Nurse Manager, you will oversee the Utilization Management department, ensuring that all activities are conducted in a clinically appropriate manner. You will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to review clinical services provided to Oscar members, ensuring adherence to organizational and regulatory requirements. Your role will involve direct leadership of both leaders and front-line staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability. You will communicate results and recommendations for improvement across disciplines, playing a key role in achieving quality and productivity metrics.
