Who you are

You have 5+ years of experience in data science, particularly in advanced risk modeling and machine learning. Your background includes working with large healthcare datasets, and you are proficient in Python and SQL for data analysis and model development. You have a strong understanding of machine learning methodologies, including regression, classification, and deep learning techniques.

You are skilled in feature engineering and can create robust predictors from complex datasets. Your experience includes deploying machine learning models in production environments, ensuring they are scalable and maintainable. You are comfortable collaborating with cross-functional teams and communicating complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

What you'll do

In this role, you will conduct in-depth data analysis and advanced feature engineering using large, complex healthcare datasets. You will design, develop, and validate advanced machine learning and AI models to solve complex business problems within Oscar's risk adjustment domain. Your work will directly impact the company's ability to serve its members effectively.

You will collaborate closely with other data scientists and stakeholders to identify business needs and translate them into analytical solutions. You will also be responsible for monitoring the performance of deployed models and iterating on them based on feedback and new data.
