Who you are

You have 2-5 years of hands-on experience in a laboratory setting, particularly in fragrance compounding or a related field. Your precision in measuring and mixing raw materials is complemented by a strong understanding of the characteristics of various essential oils and raw materials. You are committed to following safety protocols and understand the importance of personal protective equipment (PPE) when handling hazardous materials. Your collaborative spirit allows you to work effectively with quality control and production teams to ensure consistency in the fragrance compounding process.

You are detail-oriented and capable of operating and maintaining production equipment such as mixing tanks, scales, and pumps. Your ability to monitor inventory levels and communicate effectively with supervisors about stock shortages demonstrates your proactive approach to your responsibilities. You thrive in environments that require adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and are dedicated to maintaining a safe and efficient workspace.

What you'll do

As a Sample Lab Technician at Osmo, you will play a crucial role in the fragrance compounding process. Your primary responsibility will be to accurately measure, weigh, and mix raw materials and essential oils according to established formulas and batch sheets. You will operate and maintain various production equipment, ensuring that all tasks are performed in compliance with safety protocols. Your attention to detail will be essential in monitoring raw material stock levels and notifying supervisors of any shortages or issues.

Collaboration is key in this role, as you will work closely with quality control and production teams to ensure that the fragrance compounding process is consistent and efficient. You will be expected to follow standard operating procedures meticulously and contribute to a culture of safety and compliance within the lab.
