Osmo is seeking a Toxicologist to lead the scientific validation and safety assessment of novel fragrance ingredients. You'll coordinate toxicology studies and ensure compliance with global safety standards. This role requires expertise in toxicology and safety evaluations.
Job Description
Who you are
You have a strong background in toxicology, with experience in managing toxicology studies and ensuring compliance with safety standards. Your expertise allows you to develop and refine study protocols for novel ingredients, ensuring scientific soundness and data quality. You are detail-oriented and capable of reviewing study outputs for consistency with protocol objectives.
You thrive in a collaborative environment, working cross-functionally with internal teams and external consultants. Your communication skills enable you to effectively coordinate the placement of toxicology studies with external laboratories, ensuring that all necessary evaluations are conducted efficiently.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the scientific validation and safety assessment of fragrance ingredients and formulations. You will coordinate toxicology study placements and manage the scientific oversight of these studies, ensuring that new materials meet applicable global safety standards. Your role will involve developing, reviewing, and refining study protocols to ensure they are scientifically sound and yield high-quality data.
You will also be tasked with reviewing completed study outputs, ensuring they align with the objectives set forth in the protocols. Your work will directly contribute to the safety and efficacy of the scents digitized by Osmo, impacting various industries including personal care and fragrance.
