You possess deep knowledge of programming languages such as Java and Python, and you are comfortable working with REST APIs to facilitate data exchange between systems. Your experience with cloud platforms like AWS allows you to leverage scalable infrastructure for your applications.
You have a solid understanding of database management, particularly with PostgreSQL, and you know how to optimize queries for performance. Your problem-solving skills enable you to tackle complex integration challenges, and you thrive in collaborative environments where you can work closely with cross-functional teams.
You are passionate about technology and enjoy staying updated with the latest trends in software development. You have a proactive approach to learning and are always looking for ways to improve your skills and contribute to your team's success.
Desirable
Experience with data integration platforms and bi-directional data flows is a plus. Familiarity with CRM systems like Salesforce or Microsoft Dynamics will help you understand the context of the projects you'll be working on.
What you'll do
As a Staff Software Engineer at Outreach, you will play a pivotal role in expanding the Outreach CRM Sync vision. You will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of the data integration platform, enabling bi-directional data integrations between Outreach and various API-enabled applications.
You will collaborate with product managers and other engineers to define technical requirements and ensure that the integration platform meets the needs of users. Your contributions will directly impact how customers interact with Outreach, allowing them to leverage data from external applications effectively.
You will also be involved in code reviews, mentoring junior engineers, and ensuring best practices are followed throughout the development process. Your role will require you to stay hands-on with coding while also taking on leadership responsibilities within the team.
