Who you are
You are a Mobile Engineer with a knack for building engaging mobile applications that enhance user experiences. You have experience in developing features for both iOS and Android platforms, and you understand the nuances of mobile app performance and reliability. You are comfortable working with React Native and have a good grasp of native development in Swift and Java. You have a sense of humor and enjoy collaborating with a small, energetic team.
You have a solid understanding of backend technologies, including Ruby on Rails and Elixir, which allows you to contribute to the full stack when necessary. You are familiar with internationalization processes and are eager to improve how apps are translated into multiple languages. You are someone who takes pride in writing clean, maintainable code and enjoys the challenge of making apps faster and more reliable.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be responsible for building new features for Padlet's mobile applications, focusing on enhancing user engagement and functionality. You will work on projects like developing a voice recorder with audio effects and optimizing network calls to ensure a seamless user experience even in challenging connectivity situations. You will collaborate closely with product and design teams to ensure that the features you build align with user needs and company goals.
You will also be involved in improving the internationalization pipelines, ensuring that the app can be effectively translated into over 40 languages. Your contributions will directly impact millions of users, making your work both challenging and rewarding. You will have the opportunity to innovate and experiment with new ideas, all while being part of a small team that values creativity and collaboration.
