Who you are
You have a solid background in software engineering, with experience in building and maintaining automated workflows that enhance code delivery processes. Your understanding of CI/CD pipelines and cloud resources allows you to contribute effectively to the team. You are detail-oriented and focused on clean implementation and maintainability, ensuring that the systems you work on are reliable and efficient.
You are familiar with both WordPress and Drupal, having worked on projects that involve these platforms. Your experience enables you to understand the unique challenges developers face when shipping code and how to create frictionless workflows that address these challenges. You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy working with cross-functional teams to achieve common goals.
What you'll do
As a Software Engineer II at Pantheon, you will contribute to the development of platform features that enhance the user experience for developers and marketers. You will help manage cloud resources and ensure that the automated delivery processes are standardized and efficient. Your role will involve maintaining CI/CD pipelines and implementing validation and progressive delivery patterns to ensure deployment safety.
You will support the metrics and dashboards that provide visibility into the release process, making it easier for teams to measure success and identify areas for improvement. Your contributions will help make releases reliable, safe, and repeatable by default, which is essential for the success of Pantheonβs WebOps platform.
