What you'll do
As the Engineering Manager at Parafin, you will lead one of our engineering teams dedicated to developing embedded financial products for small businesses. You will be responsible for setting the technical direction of your team, ensuring that projects align with the company's mission to support small businesses. You will oversee the full-stack product development process, from initial design through to deployment, ensuring that the systems you build are scalable and maintainable. You will work closely with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to define project requirements and deliver solutions that exceed expectations. Your role will involve conducting regular one-on-one meetings with team members to provide feedback, support their professional growth, and address any challenges they may face. You will also play a key role in hiring and onboarding new team members, ensuring that they are integrated into the team effectively. Additionally, you will be responsible for implementing best practices in software development, including code reviews, testing, and documentation, to maintain high standards of quality across all projects.
