Overview
Parallel Web Systems is hiring a Lead Frontend Engineer to enhance their web properties and build intuitive user interfaces. You'll work with TypeScript, modern CSS, and frameworks like Vercel and Sanity. This role requires strong production experience and expertise in front-end development.
Job Description
Who you are
You're an expert at modern front-end frameworks, maintainable UI architecture, and building UIs that feel intuitive, fast, and beautiful. You have strong production experience with TypeScript, modern CSS, Vercel, and Sanity (or similar headless CMS platforms). You understand responsive design, web performance, and accessibility. You can read API documentation, work effectively with backend teams, and have good instincts for what makes a developer tool feel intuitive versus frustrating. Experience with data visualization or technical documentation sites is a plus.
What you'll do
You'll design, build, and refine the web experiences that showcase what our powerful APIs are capable of. You'll focus on three key properties: Parallel.ai — our marketing website, Platform.parallel.ai — our developer playground and dashboard, and Docs.parallel.ai — our technical documentation site. As a lead, you'll take our web properties from their early iterations to a higher bar of excellence as we expand to serve more customers. You'll collaborate closely with backend teams to ensure seamless integration and performance.
What we offer
We provide a competitive salary, generous equity, and benefits including visa sponsorships, 401K plans, daily lunch, office snacks, and unlimited vacation. Join us in building the web for AIs and be part of a world-class team dedicated to innovation and excellence.
