What you'll do
As the Associate Director of Software Engineering, you will lead the development of our custom warehouse management system, Shelf. This system is integral to our operations, allowing us to ship hundreds of thousands of boxes daily. You will oversee engineering teams, ensuring they are equipped to meet the operational demands of the business. Your role will involve strategic planning and execution, as you work closely with other departments to align technology initiatives with business objectives. You will be responsible for setting technical direction, conducting code reviews, and ensuring best practices are followed throughout the development process. You will also play a key role in hiring and developing talent within your teams, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
