Job Description

Who you are

You are a diligent and detail-oriented legal professional with a strong background in handling legal agreements and contract management. You have experience in vendor negotiations and ensuring regulatory compliance, particularly in line with SEBI’s outsourcing policies. Your expertise in commercial contract drafting and negotiation allows you to protect the company’s interests effectively.

You possess excellent communication skills, enabling you to collaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendors seamlessly. You are proactive in maintaining and updating agreement trackers to monitor contract lifecycles, ensuring timely closure, execution, renewal, and archival of agreements. Your attention to detail ensures that all agreements adhere to regulatory compliance guidelines.

What you'll do

In this role, you will draft, review, vet, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements, including vendor contracts, service agreements, NDAs, and technology contracts. You will collaborate with various internal teams and external vendors to finalize agreements that align with the company's interests. Your strong experience in commercial contract drafting will be crucial in this process.

You will also be responsible for maintaining and updating the agreement tracker, monitoring contract lifecycles, renewal dates, and key obligations. Ensuring timely closure and execution of agreements will be a key part of your responsibilities. Additionally, you will evaluate vendor agreements to assess compliance with regulatory outsourcing guidelines and coordinate with relevant teams to ensure necessary approvals and disclosures are in place.

Your role will involve preparing regular reports and updates for senior management on contract status, key legal risks, and compliance observations. You will respond to queries from internal departments relating to agreements or regulatory compliance matters, contributing to the development and implementation of legal processes and templates. Supporting internal audits and regulatory inspections related to outsourcing arrangements will also be part of your responsibilities.
