Who you are

You have 3 to 6 years of experience in building applications for the Android platform, showcasing a strong understanding of Android native application development. Your expertise in Kotlin and Java allows you to design and implement robust features for mobile applications. You are familiar with Dagger 2, MVVM architecture, LiveData, data binding, RxJava2, and Room DB, which are essential for developing high-quality Android applications. You possess a good understanding of Android application architecture and design principles, ensuring that your applications are both functional and user-friendly. Your knowledge extends to memory management, network interaction, debugging, concurrency, and multi-threading in Android, enabling you to create efficient and reliable applications. You are also experienced in writing unit tests to ensure the robustness of your code, including edge cases and usability considerations.

Desirable

While not mandatory, prior work experience in the payments industry would be beneficial. You are comfortable collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Backend, Design, and Product Management, to define, design, and ship new features. Your ability to continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies maximizes development efficiency and enhances the overall quality of the applications you work on.

What you'll do

In this role, you will design and code features for the Android application based on specifications provided by the Product and Design teams. You will write unit tests for all features to ensure their reliability and performance. Collaborating closely with Backend, Design, and Product Management teams, you will brainstorm and understand the details of features, ensuring that they meet user needs and expectations. You will work on bug fixing and improving application performance, continuously striving to enhance the user experience. Your role will also involve evaluating new technologies and integrating them into the development process to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
