Who you are
You have more than 3 years of experience in channel and distribution sales, demonstrating a strong understanding of market dynamics and customer needs. Your background includes managing a sales team of at least five members, where you've successfully driven growth and achieved sales targets. You possess excellent market knowledge and are adept at building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, particularly in the oil and gas sector.
You are proficient in Excel and other data tools, enabling you to analyze sales metrics and make informed decisions. Your ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with diverse teams is essential for success in this role. You have a strong desire for growth and are motivated by the opportunity to create wealth for yourself and your team.
What you'll do
In this role, you will lead the sales efforts for Paytm's offline payment solutions, focusing on onboarding new merchants and servicing existing ones. You will act as the key point of contact for customers, guiding them from initial outreach through to purchase. Your responsibilities will include developing and executing sales strategies, managing relationships with PSU companies and oil marketing firms, and ensuring that your team meets its sales targets.
You will also be responsible for analyzing sales data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement. By leveraging your market knowledge, you will help shape the direction of the sales team and contribute to the overall success of Paytm's offline solutions. Your leadership will be crucial in fostering a high-performance culture within your team, driving motivation and engagement among team members.
