You have a strong service background and experience in managing teams, ideally with a focus on DTH, broadband, or consumer electronics. Your local market knowledge enables you to understand the dynamics of the area and effectively lead your team. You possess a trainer mindset, ready to develop your team members and enhance their skills. Analytical and data management skills are part of your toolkit, allowing you to make informed decisions based on performance metrics. You are adept at managing service level agreements and ensuring timely ticket closures for both proactive and reactive merchant issues. Your experience in stock handling and inventory management is crucial for overseeing material management from hub to field service engineers.
Desirable
Experience in the mobile payments or financial services sector would be a plus, as would familiarity with technology that aids small businesses. A graduate or postgraduate degree is preferred, reflecting your commitment to professional development.
What you'll do
As the Service Team Lead, you will manage a team of 15-20 service field engineers, ensuring they are equipped to handle merchant issues effectively. You will oversee SLA management, focusing on the timely closure of tickets related to device issues. Your role will involve strategic planning to grow the distribution and market share of Paytm's QR Code and Sound Box business in your assigned area. You will formulate counter strategies to local initiatives taken by competitors, ensuring that Paytm remains a leader in the market. Additionally, you will be responsible for material management, coordinating logistics to ensure that your team has the necessary resources to succeed. Your analytical skills will be essential in tracking performance and identifying areas for improvement.
