Who you are
You have over 5 years of dedicated experience in security technologies, particularly in CDN and WAF solutions. Your hands-on expertise with Akamai suites enables you to architect and defend high-volume transactional services effectively. You possess a strong ability to drive complex technical projects while mentoring a high-performing team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and a security-first mindset.
Your experience includes leading comprehensive design and strategic deployment of Akamai CDN and WAF solutions, ensuring robust protection and high availability for critical applications. You are adept at managing end-to-end projects, from initial architecture and stakeholder planning through to successful implementation and post-deployment support.
You excel in mentoring and guiding engineers, setting clear goals, and ensuring operational excellence. You act as the primary technical escalation point for complex Akamai CDN/WAF incidents and performance issues, demonstrating your problem-solving skills and technical acumen.
What you'll do
In this role, you will lead the design and deployment of Akamai CDN and WAF solutions, ensuring that Paytm's critical applications are well-protected and highly available. You will own end-to-end projects, managing everything from architecture to implementation and ongoing optimization. Your responsibilities will include mentoring a team of engineers, fostering a culture of security awareness, and ensuring that operational excellence is maintained.
You will also act as the primary technical escalation point for all complex incidents related to Akamai CDN and WAF, addressing performance issues and security challenges as they arise. Your leadership will be crucial in driving the success of security initiatives and ensuring that the team is equipped to handle the demands of a high-volume transactional environment.
