What you'll do

As an Engineering Manager at Pennylane, you will oversee a team of 5 to 8 software engineers, guiding them through the development of our financial operating system. You will be responsible for setting clear goals and expectations for your team, ensuring that they are aligned with the company's vision and objectives. You will facilitate regular one-on-one meetings to provide feedback and support, helping your team members to grow in their roles.

You will collaborate closely with product managers and designers to ensure that engineering efforts are aligned with product goals. Your role will involve participating in technical discussions, providing input on architecture and design decisions, and ensuring that best practices are followed throughout the development process. You will also play a key role in hiring new talent, helping to build a strong and diverse engineering team that can drive the company's growth.
