Job Description
Who you are
As the first Product Manager at Perfect Venue, you bring a unique blend of strategic thinking and hands-on execution. You have a strong background in product management, ideally with experience in the events or hospitality industry. Your ability to research user needs and define problems to solve is second nature to you. You excel at turning ideas into clear product specifications and prototypes, ensuring that the engineering team has everything they need to succeed.
You are skilled at prioritizing roadmaps in collaboration with leadership, ensuring that upcoming work is well-defined and that engineers remain focused on delivering high-quality features. Your organizational skills shine as you maintain accountability for milestones and delivery, keeping the backlog and Linear organized. You are a natural facilitator, adept at cross-functional execution and pushing back when necessary to ensure the best outcomes for the product.
What you'll do
In this role, you will plan and research user needs, defining the problems that need solving. You will turn ideas into clear product specs and prototypes, owning initiatives that connect business goals to product work. You will prioritize the roadmap with the leadership team, ensuring that upcoming work is well-defined so engineers can stay focused. You will partner with engineering to ship features on time, maintaining accountability for milestones and delivery. Your role will also involve facilitating cross-functional execution and communicating new features to stakeholders.
