Job Description
Who you are
You have extensive experience in managing and scaling Kubernetes clusters, particularly on AWS EKS, ensuring that systems are reliable, performant, and secure. Your background includes implementing Infrastructure-as-Code using tools like Terraform or Pulumi, which allows you to automate infrastructure provisioning and management effectively.
You are skilled in monitoring and optimizing system performance, scalability, and resource utilization, ensuring that applications run smoothly and efficiently. Your experience includes configuring and maintaining blockchain infrastructure, specifically crypto nodes across multiple blockchains, which supports wallet operations in a seamless manner.
You understand the complexities of database scaling and have a proven track record of optimizing and scaling database infrastructure to handle large volumes of data, particularly in the context of blockchain technology. Your commitment to system reliability drives you to continuously improve uptime, monitoring, and overall system performance.
What you'll do
In this role, you will take ownership of Kubernetes management, ensuring that clusters are not only operational but also optimized for performance and security. You will implement and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code practices, which will streamline the provisioning and management of infrastructure resources.
Your responsibilities will include monitoring system performance and making necessary adjustments to enhance scalability and resource utilization. You will also configure and maintain blockchain infrastructure, ensuring that crypto nodes are operational and effectively supporting the wallet's functionalities.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement in system reliability and performance, implementing best practices and innovative solutions to enhance the user experience. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring that Phantom's infrastructure can support its growing user base and evolving technology landscape.
