Who you are
You are a detail-oriented Controller with a strong background in accounting and finance. You thrive in complexity and enjoy building financial foundations that scale. Your hands-on approach ensures accuracy and strong controls, and you value clear data to support decision-making. You have experience managing accounting functions across multiple entities and are skilled in intercompany accounting and reconciliations.
You have a proven track record of leading bookkeeping teams and owning all aspects of accounting functions, including financial reporting, operational finance, tax, and audit readiness. You are adept at maintaining and evolving financial and accounting systems to support scale and complexity. Your ability to build, document, and enforce accounting policies and procedures ensures strong internal controls.
What you'll do
In this role, you will manage Phoenixβs bookkeeping team and own all aspects of the accounting function. You will lead accounting across multiple legal entities, including intercompany transactions, reconciliations, and eliminations. You will also own inventory accounting end-to-end, including valuation, reconciliation, reserves, and cost-of-goods-sold analysis. Your responsibilities will include maintaining and evolving financial and accounting systems to support the company's growth and complexity.
You will partner closely with the CFO to support confident, data-driven decision-making and contribute to the forecasting process. Your role will involve interacting cross-functionally with Operations and Pharmacy teams to ensure financial data flows cleanly across inventory, payments, payroll, and accounting systems. You will play a key role in shaping how Phoenix grows by ensuring our numbers are right and our processes are tight.
