You have 5-7 years of backend engineering experience, building production systems that scale effectively — you've taken ownership of services from design through deployment and have navigated the challenges of debugging complex distributed systems. Your expertise in Java and Spring is deep — you've successfully shipped high-throughput APIs that handle millions of requests, and you have strong opinions on service architecture, dependency injection, and testing strategies. You thrive in environments that require rapid iterative development and customer-centric product thinking, and you enjoy collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful solutions. You are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and are excited about the opportunity to build platforms that touch millions of users. You understand the importance of writing clean, maintainable code and are committed to continuous learning and improvement in your craft.

Desirable

Experience with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure would be a plus, as well as familiarity with microservices architecture. If you have worked in the fintech space or have experience with payment systems, that would be advantageous. What you'll do
