You have a proven track record in data science leadership, with extensive experience in building and managing high-performing teams. Your strategic mindset allows you to define multi-year visions and priorities that align with organizational goals, particularly in Trust & Safety and content understanding. You possess strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of metrics-driven decision-making, enabling you to proactively manage risks and improve user trust.
You are an excellent communicator, capable of collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams, including Product, Engineering, and Policy. Your ability to translate complex data insights into actionable strategies is key to driving the success of your initiatives. What you'll do
In this pivotal role, you will set the strategy and roadmap for Trust & Safety, User Understanding, and Content Understanding at Pinterest. You will lead a team of data scientists to develop systems that enhance user safety and content quality, transitioning from reactive moderation to a proactive, metrics-driven approach. Your leadership will be crucial in establishing north-star outcomes that prioritize user trust and ecosystem health.
