What you'll do

As a Staff Software Engineer, you will lead efforts to build next-generation model inference and feature serving systems — your work will directly impact Pinterest’s monetization business by enabling the deployment of larger models. You will design and optimize low-latency, high-throughput inference pipelines, ensuring they meet strict service level objectives while improving performance and efficiency.

You will partner with Ads ML and product teams to integrate new model architectures, including large language models and multi-stage ranking models, into production — your role will involve evolving the online feature platform, focusing on feature computation, caching, and serving. You will also be responsible for mentoring junior engineers and fostering a culture of innovation within the team.
