Who you are
You have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, and you bring extensive experience in software engineering, particularly in programmatic advertising. Your expertise in Java allows you to develop robust applications, and you have a strong understanding of A/B testing methodologies to drive product iterations. You are a mentor at heart, eager to guide junior engineers and share your knowledge to elevate the team's technical capabilities.
You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with product managers, data scientists, and cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions. Your problem-solving skills are top-notch, enabling you to independently drive the full software development lifecycle from ideation to release. You maintain high standards for technical excellence and production quality, ensuring that the solutions you deliver meet the needs of both the business and the users.
What you'll do
In this role, you will lead one or two partner integrations, working closely with external demand partners to optimize performance metrics such as latency, conversion, engagement, and fill rate for programmatic ad products. You will independently drive the software development lifecycle, including technical design, prototyping, development, and release, ensuring that all aspects of the project align with business goals.
You will establish and maintain a high standard for technical excellence, conducting code reviews and providing constructive feedback to junior engineers. Your role will also involve utilizing A/B testing to drive product iterations, allowing you to experiment with different approaches and refine the product based on real user data. You will collaborate with various teams to build internal tools that enhance cross-functional workflows, ultimately contributing to the overall success of the Programmatic Ads team.
