Your expertise in Java and JavaScript allows you to design and implement robust web applications that meet the needs of architecture and engineering firms. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with product and design teams to solve customer challenges. Your hands-on approach blends strategic oversight with direct involvement in project execution, ensuring that applications critical to customer success are well-designed and maintained.

You possess a deep understanding of cloud technologies, particularly AWS, and have experience with containerization tools like Docker. Your knowledge of databases, especially PostgreSQL, enables you to optimize data management and retrieval processes effectively. You are passionate about mentoring junior engineers and fostering a culture of continuous improvement within your team. You are adaptable and open to feedback, always looking for ways to enhance your skills and contribute to the team's success.

Desirable

Experience with Agile methodologies and familiarity with CI/CD practices would be a plus. A background in architecture or engineering software development is highly desirable, as it aligns with our mission to empower design professionals in the AECO industry.

What you'll do

As a Principal Software Engineer at Pirros, you will own the design and implementation of scalable web applications that streamline detail management for architecture and engineering firms.
