You have a strong background in economics, particularly in macroeconomic and credit analysis — your expertise allows you to translate complex data into actionable insights that drive strategic decisions. You are skilled in developing forecasting models and identifying economic turning points, which are crucial for understanding household financial health and credit dynamics.
Your analytical skills are complemented by a deep understanding of financial systems and institutions — you are familiar with the tools and methodologies used to analyze economic data and trends. What you'll do
As the Macro & Credit Research Economist at Plaid, you will be responsible for building and owning macroeconomic and credit indicators derived from raw transaction data — your work will directly influence Plaid's strategic direction and product offerings.
