Overview
Plain is seeking a Full Stack Engineer to redefine customer support for B2B companies. You'll build across the stack, shipping high-impact features and collaborating closely with customers. This role requires experience in JavaScript, React, and Node.js.
Job Description
Who you are
You have experience as a Full Stack Engineer, having shipped features end-to-end in fast-paced environments. You take initiative and show strong agency; you donβt wait to be told what to do, you figure out what matters, drive momentum, and make it better. Learning about new technologies is a key motivation for you, and while you appreciate innovation, you prefer known options that enhance productivity, such as PostgreSQL. You are looking to contribute as an individual contributor for now, rather than managing others.
What you'll do
At Plain, engineering is about much more than moving tickets from left to right β itβs about owning and solving problems end to end, from infrastructure decisions to feature design to button copy. You will build across the stack, developing frontend interfaces, backend logic, and everything in between. Your role will involve shipping high-impact features that are fast, reliable, and delightful for users. You will contribute to product and technical direction, working closely with design, engineering, and the founders. Collaboration with customers will be key as you seek to understand their problems and solve them elegantly. You will help shape a fast-moving, product-centric engineering culture that values innovation and responsiveness.
What we offer
Plain is committed to redefining customer support and creating a platform that empowers B2B companies. You will be part of a team that values collaboration and innovation, working in an environment that encourages you to take initiative and drive change. We believe in investing in the tools and technologies that make us productive, and we support continuous learning and growth within our team. Join us in transforming the way companies engage with their customers and be part of a mission that is shaping the future of customer support.
