What you'll do

As a Data Engineer at Point72, you will be responsible for building solutions that process big and unstructured data sets. You will own the creation process of tools, services, and workflows that improve crawl and scrape analysis, reports, and data management. Your role will involve testing the data and the scraping processes to ensure accuracy, quality, and compliance with industry standards. You will also be tasked with identifying and rectifying any issues that arise during data extraction, ensuring that scrapes are scaled as needed to meet the demands of the investment teams.

You will collaborate closely with the Market Intelligence team, leveraging innovative alternative data sources and advanced data analytics to create high-quality research products. Your contributions will directly support the firm's investment and compliance professionals in their pursuit of superior, risk-adjusted returns.
