Who you are

You have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, and you bring over 3 years of experience in a client-facing support, operations, or data engineering role. Your expertise spans both Windows and Linux environments, and you are comfortable working in AWS. You have a strong attention to detail and a love for process, which drives your commitment to delivering error-free data solutions. Your organization, communication, and interpersonal skills enable you to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.

Desirable

Experience in the financial industry is preferred but not required. You thrive in environments where you can develop tools, documentation, and processes that enhance the operation of data pipelines and services. Your ability to manage incidents, including notifications and reporting, is a key asset in your role.

What you'll do

As a Data Reliability Engineer at Point72, you will provide Level 1 support for thousands of mission-critical data pipelines. Your responsibilities will include developing tools and processes to ensure the smooth operation of these pipelines, as well as conducting data validation, cleaning, and security audits. You will also be involved in incident management, ensuring timely notifications and reporting to maintain the integrity of data services. Your role will require you to support complex entitlement systems operations across different platforms, contributing to the overall reliability of our data infrastructure.
